Mindspace Week - Building Healthy Habits
6th - 10th of October 2025
We marked World Mental Health Day with Mindspace Week at the Virtual Village Hall between the 6th and 10th of October. Take a moment for yourself, as we explored the NHS 5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing. You’ll find a full programme of mindful and relaxing sessions to try, plus advice and support to help you build healthy habits for life.
Sessions include yoga, meditation, journaling, gentle exercise, crafts, and relaxing music. There’s also a session on habit stacking to help you stay motivated and keep up with your wellbeing routines.
The NHS 5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing:
- Connect with other people
- Be physically active
- Learn new skills
- Give to others
- Pay attention to the present moment - mindfulness
On 6th October we were joined for an interactive session with Gill Jordan, an accredited ADHD Coach. Gill talked about habit stacking, showing how it can support people with ADHD, and shared real-life examples from her own experience. She also walked us through six key habit stacking principles to help build lasting wellbeing.
We ran a number of shorter 10-minute sessions during the week, for you to try out and use in habit stacking to build healthier routines!
