Lemon curd

Tutor: Rae Wilson, Royal Voluntary Service volunteer and curd maker

Rae Wilson is a Royal Voluntary Service volunteer from Scotland. She is an expert jam and preserve maker, and in this session, Rae shares her recipe for how to make a zingy lemon curd.

Curds are sweet spreads that can be spread on bread and toast or used as a cake filling. Curds differ from jams as they are made with fruit juice and sugar rather than whole fruit.

Preparation

Prepare space for making and have jars ready.
