No matter what our age or life stage, physical activity is a superpower that makes us feel stronger, more positive and better able to cope with the challenges life throws at us.

In a 2021 Royal Voluntary Service survey of 1,500 over 55s, 1 in 10 told us they hadn’t been able to exercise or be active during the COVID-19 pandemic. To get the New Year off to a healthy and active start here at the Virtual Village Hall, we hosted Get Moving Week, a week of live, fun and free gentle exercise and dance classes to try at home.

It’s not too late to set some healthy intentions to be more active, or if you missed the wonderful Mr Motivator’s live launch workout or want to try any of our other Get Moving Week sessions.
