Serve with some couscous or crunchy/ flat bread.

  • 1 pack of chicken thighs
  • A medium onion
  • A small bunch of coriander
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 6 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Few stands of saffron (optional)
  • 1 medium sized preserved lemon
  • A jar of green or red olives
  • A tagine or a medium size shallow pan
  • A knife
  • A wooden spoon
