Celebrating the theme of this year’s LGBT+ History Month (Medicine – #UnderTheScope), Dr. Kit Tugwell, GP and Co-Chair of GLADD – The Association of LGBTQ+ Doctors and Dentists, discusses the health needs of and inequalities faced by LGBTQ+ people, as well as the contribution made by LGBTQ practitioners to the field of medicine. GLADD – The Association of LGBTQ+ Doctors and Dentists is an organization that unites and represents LGBTQ+ doctors, dentists, medical and dental students, and advocates for the health needs of LGBTQ+ people.
