Watercolour greetings cards

Preparation
Prepare your materials and find a sturdy table or floor to work on.

30 minutes
- Watercolour paper
- Plain greetings card
- Photo mounting corner stickers or paper glue
- Watercolour paints
- Jar of water
- Kitchen roll or art rag
- Thin paint brush (size between 2-4)
- 2.5cm / 1 inch flat watercolour paint brush or decorator’s paint brush
Optional:
- Water based varnish in your choice of gloss or matt
- Acrylic paint in your choice of colour
- Small pot for mixing paint
- Gold, silver or copper leaf and the recommended manufacturer’s glue
- Very thin paint brush
- Medium sized paint brush
- Soft cloth
