Give your refuse collectors a break! In this creative upcycling session, craft workshop tutor Rosie shows how to transform the tin and cans you were going to put out for recycling into beautiful hanging decorations for your home. You’ll need a comfortable space at a table to take part.
Rosie’s craft sessions are for everyone with no crafting skills or experience necessary.

Materials

• Tin cans or tomato puree tubes (clean and dry)
• Masking tape
• Tea towel
• String
• Print outs of small patterns or hand drawn on paper (make sure the patterns fit the width of the metal)

Equipment

• A small sharp knife
• Scissors
• Small embossing tool (a thick cocktail stick or a ball point pen/gel pen is fine)
• Hole punch
