  • A4 / A5 size sheet of acetate, perspex or similar
  • Black acrylic paint / poster paint / block printing ink
  • Paintbrush or if you are using block printing ink, you’ll also need a roller (brayer)
  • Tracing paper
  • Pencil.

Optional:

  • A variety of mark-making implements including things like cotton buds, leaves, bubblewrap, tissue paper etc
  • Paper (minimum 100gsm)
  • Your own sketches and drawings or images that you would like to turn into a monotype.
