Introducing the P for Prostate Manual

Presenters: Jim Pollard, Men’s Health Forum with Nick Hale, an ex-nurse with lived experience of Prostate cancer

The Men's Health Forum is the leading charity supporting men's health in England, Wales and Scotland. Its aim is for all men and boys to have the information, services and treatments they need to live healthier, longer and more fulfilling lives. Jim Pollard has been writing about men’s health since he got cancer in his early 30s. In this session, Jim explains why all men need to understand the prostate.

Half of men don’t know where it is or what it does, yet prostate cancer is the UK’s most common cancer in men affecting 1 in 8 white men and 1 in 4 black men. With younger males increasingly affected, all men over 40 (or those who care about them) are invited to join.
