Gelli printing for kids

Push jelly to its limits and transform throw-away items into vibrant prints in this exciting children’s workshop. Help them turn their designs and quotes into collagraphs then ink their gel plates to print again and again.

Preparation

We’ll be using a Gel (Gelli) Plate for this session, you can buy them or make your own

  • A4 copier paper
  • A selection of cardboard and magazines from the recycling bin
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or PVA glue
  • A bought or homemade Gel (Gelli) Plate
  • Rubber roller (brayer)
  • Acrylic paint in your choice of colours
