Eco printed lavender bags

In this session, Rachel demonstrates how to make scented lavender bags using a Japanese printing technique called Hapa-Zome, also known as leaf dye.
Preparation
Prepare your materials and find a sturdy table or floor to work on.

- Autumn leaves and colourful petals picked straight from the plant, not the ground
- Cotton fabric
- Dried lavender
- Soft toy filling (this makes the lavender go further)
- A flat headed hammer
- A sturdy board e.g. a thick chopping board
- Scissors
- Needle and thread or sewing machine.
