Printmaking and bookbinding go hand-in-hand. In this session, print artist Rachel Moore shows us how to turn prints into a simple concertina artist book. Fill the book with sketches, quotes and poems, or use it to write your shopping list!

Prepare your materials and find a sturdy table or floor to work on.

  • 3 x pieces of pre-printed or patterned A4 paper (printer paper weight is fine)
  • Scissors
  • Paper glue
  • A6 piece of card for the cover
  • An awl or similar implement to make a hole in the card
  • Bakers’ twine, string or thin ribbon - 65cm in length
  • Letter stamps and ink pad (optional).
