Banoffee pie

To make an 8” Pie (or around 12 cupcake size cheesecakes)
- 250g biscuits (digestive, choc digestives, chocolate cookies – the choice is yours!)
- 150g melted butter
- 3 ripe bananas
- 284ml (one pot) double cream
- One 397g can of Caramel Condensed Milk – or if you’re a dab hand, you can make your own caramel in advance!
- 1 tbsp icing sugar
- A couple of squares of milk or dark chocolate to grate over the top.
- 20cm dish or springform cake tin (alternatively silicon cupcake cases work well for mini versions)
- Mixing bowl x2
- Rolling pin or food processor to crush biscuits
- Knife and chopping board
- Whisk – electric makes life easier but both will work
- Grater
