In this session, VVH artist and printmaker, Rachel Moore, explores the beauty of poppies through creative exercises inspired by artists like Monet and Van Gogh. You’ll also experiment with different techniques to draw and paint poppies using bold lines, textures and simple effects.

  • Watercolours - even a children’s paint set will do
  • Chalk pastels
  • Wax crayon or candlestick
  • Paper (any sturdy type - sketchbook, cartridge, card, watercolour paper, or even recycled packaging like brown paper)

Don’t worry if you don’t have fancy supplies - just use what you have!
