World Heart Day

Monday 29th September 2025

World Heart Day takes place every year on 29th September. It’s a time when people around the world come together to learn about heart health through education, campaigns, and community events. Here at the VVH, we’re celebrating with some enjoyable exercises designed to help you move more and raise your heart rate in gentle and functional ways, especially for those living with heart or other long-term conditions.

Peter Dutton from We Are Undefeatable will lead a Q&A session with two guests who share their experiences of staying active while living with heart conditions. He will also highlight helpful resources for people with cardiovascular conditions, as well as their carers and families.
