Knit a Fair Isle hairband

Tutor: Jo Allport, designer, tutor and craft journalist

Join knitwear designer, tutor and craft journalist, Jo Allport, as she knits and sews a Fair Isle headband, an upcycle knitting project that combines small balls of leftover yarn with some new yarn. Jo teaches the Fair Isle technique, using yarn held in one hand and both hands. To take part, you’ll need to know how to cast on, work in knit and purl, and how to cast off.
