Emma explains the stress response, what happens in the mind and body, and how stress is the root cause of up to 80% of all GP consultations in the UK. She explores the sources of stress, how to recognise the mental and physical signs of stress, explores unhelpful coping mechanisms and highlights helpful alternatives.
