Lake District Walk and Talk - Finding Meaning in the In-Between
Host: Elaine Fisher, outdoor personal coach, The Lakes Coach (International Coaching Federation accredited)
The Lake District’s beautiful scenery has inspired poets and philosophers for generations, and every year more than 18 million people visit to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors.
On this Walk and Talk, we’ll join Dr. Elaine Fisher, The Lakes Coach, to reflect on this unique time of year. We’re in that in-between season, not quite winter but not yet spring. Many people find this period challenging, feeling tired from the long winter and sensing little progress. It can seem like nothing is happening.
Together, we’ll explore how nature handles these in-between times, and discover that even when change isn’t obvious, it’s a season of preparation and growth beneath the surface.
This mindful walk will bring the outside in and include a conversation with Jo Andrews to explore how the natural world can bring meaning to our own lives, and how walking and talking in the outdoors with others can boost our wellbeing.
