Needlework
Sewing is an age-old skill and a wonderful hobby. Whether you want to make your own clothes or try some creative textile crafts, the Virtual Village Hall is a great place to start your sewing journey. You’ll find projects to suit all abilities, including a tote bag, face coverings, gift bags, embroidery, cross-stitch and crewelwork, and Japanese techniques like Sashiko and Kumihimo. Our expert tutors include acclaimed stitchers like TV’s Great British Sewing Bee winner Juliet Uzor and embroidery guru Georgina Bellamy.
Some sewing and needlework activities involve using sharp tools or equipment. Please take care to ensure that your health and safety are a priority when taking part in these sessions.
