Printmaking tutor at the Virtual Village Hall

Rachel is a talented printmaker who quit her ‘boring day job’ (Rachel’s words!) to start up her own creative business, IPrintedThat, a design and workshop studio in Romsey, Kent. Her Virtual Village Hall sessions are creative and fun, accessible and low-cost, and use recycled, natural or everyday materials to create something beautifully original. Rachel has green fingers too and you’ll regularly find her hosting seasonal sessions about gardening, planting and growing.

Before joining the Virtual Village Hall as a tutor, Rachel had never presented a live workshop on Facebook before so, understandably, felt nervous.

"I found the experience nerve-wracking at first, but I’m always glad when I’ve done it and get such lovely, encouraging comments from the Virtual Villagers. It’s helped me to hone my style of presentation and just ‘be me’ when teaching. Although I still get nervous, I’m much more confident in presenting and I get excited to share new skills with people. I’ve been able to reach people all over the UK and some of those have turned into customers and taken online workshops with me."
