Learn how to personalise your clothes in less than 15 minutes with Saja Elmishri, a Leicester-based textiles creative, teacher and sustainability writer. In this colourful and creative upcycling session, Saja shows how to add hand-stitching to an old item of clothing to give it a new lease of life!

So grab a needle and thread and get ready to learn some basic stitches like running stitch, back stitch, French knots and chain stitch. First-time or less confident stitchers are welcome to use a piece of old fabric to practise on first before getting creative with their clothes!
