Arts and Crafts projects can provide a sense of accomplishment and purpose, also helping to provide the person living with Dementia, and their caregivers, an opportunity for self-expression - Alzheimer's Association.
According to Forward with Dementia, creating art in a supportive environment can also: Provide a sense of purpose, provide opportunities for social interaction, encourage the use of motor skills and help to relieve stress and anxiety, which can also help to improve mood and overall wellbeing.
