Hedgerow Myth Busting and How to Support Them

Host: Megan Gimber, Key Habitats Officer, People’s Trust for Endangered Species (PTES)

Hedgerows are rows of closely planted trees or shrubs, often used as natural fences in many places. They provide important environmental benefits and are home to many different species.

In this session, Megan Gimber from the People’s Trust for Endangered Species will talk about some common myths about hedgerows, explain their value for wildlife and people, share their history and current state in the UK, and offer tips on how you can help support local hedgerow habitats.
