Exploring the Old Man of Coniston: A Walk and Talk in the Lake District

Host: Elaine Fisher, outdoor personal coach, The Lakes Coach (International Coaching Federation accredited)

The stunning landscape of the Lake District provides the perfect backdrop for a walk and talk in nature.

In this Walk and Talk, Dr. Elaine Fisher, The Lakes Coach, explores the Lakes’ industrial past, introducing the Old Man of Coniston, a majestic mountain surrounding beautiful lakes and villages that was once a hive of industrial activity.

We look at the lives of the people who literally carved a living out of the mountains and compare this to the quiet and solace people find in the fells today.
