Exercising with Neuro Heroes: Thriving with Parkinson’s

Tutor: Anna Kharin, Specialist Parkinson’s Physiotherapist, Neuro Heroes

In this session, instructor Anna, from Neuro Heroes, demonstrates how to exercise with Parkinson’s with positivity and energy. There are options to exercise sitting or standing so pick the option that’s most suitable and safe for you.

Neuro Heroes offers live online classes run by neuro physiotherapists. Classes are designed from research to help people reach recommended exercise guidelines, and, through use of music and varied playful content, to ensure people are fully engaged whilst working hard.

Neuro Heroes is passionate about creating a community of Heroes who feel empowered to manage their symptoms using exercise, and thrive whilst living with a neuro condition.

This session is part of a World Parkinson’s Day collaboration with Parkinson’s UK, the national charity supporting the Parkinson’s community, and We Are Undefeatable.

About Anna

Anna is a Neurological Physiotherapist from Neuro Heroes, the UK’s first online Neurological gym.

Neuro Heroes was set up four years ago by Anna Kharin and Laura Douglas, a fellow Neuro Physiotherapist, because of their belief in how transformational exercise can be for the Parkinson’s community.

They set out to create a positive, inspirational space that gives people with neurological conditions the opportunity to participate in exercise that is uniquely designed for their condition.
