Join Rachel for this playful, experimental printmaking session. Using Coca-Cola, Foil, and vegetable oil, you’ll explore a lithography-inspired printmaking process that uses chemistry and simple household materials to produce unique textures and rich tonal effects.

It’s a playful way to explore foil printmaking without traditional equipment, no prior experience needed.

  • Heavy duty foil
  • A5 piece of cardboard
  • Masking tape
  • One or a selection of the following; wax crayon, oil pastels, chinagraph (grease pencil), permanent marker
  • Coca-Cola
  • Shallow container filled with water
  • Kitchen towel
  • Rubber roller (brayer)
  • Oil based printing ink
  • Paper
  • A baren, or a wooden or metal spoon

The idea isn’t to buy lots of new equipment but to use what you have!
