Bounce Back Exercise

Tutor: Beth Boxall, Clinical Exercise Specialist, Bounceback Exercise

This is a 30-minute energising exercise session involving strength, balance and Parkinson’s-specific exercises. Enjoy the session, then feel free to ask Beth any questions about exercise.

This session is part of a World Parkinson’s Day collaboration with Parkinson’s UK, the national charity supporting the Parkinson’s community, and We Are Undefeatable.

Preparation

• Ensure you have plenty of room to exercise and make sure there are no trip hazards on the floor around you too.

• Wear something cool and comfortable that you can move in.

About Beth

Beth is a clinical exercise specialist with a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Loughborough University.

She holds Level 4 certifications in both Exercise for Long-Term Neurological Conditions and Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation.

Beth founded Bounce Back Exercise to provide tailored exercise programs for people with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer and other long-term health conditions.

On World Parkinson's Day on the 11th of April, we're collaborating with Parkinson's UK, the national charity supporting the Parkinson's community, and We Are Undefeatable to host a day of Parkinson's-friendly exercise sessions. From Dance classes to Parkinson's Beats exercise drumming, there are a variety of sessions with standing and seated options that everyone can join in with.
