  • 300ml warm milk
  • 50g melted butter
  • 500g bread flour
  • 1tsp salt
  • 75g sugar
  • 10g yeast (or one sachet)
  • 130g mixed fruit
  • Zest of an orange
  • 1 apple
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 1-2 tbsp honey
  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking tray lined with parchment paper
  • Piping bag with small nozzle or cut hole
  • Pastry brush

You may also find it useful to have a scraper or a metal spoon to hand to help when kneading as it's quite sticky!
