Prepare your materials and find a sturdy table or floor to work on.

- A small / medium sized potato
- A Craft knife
- A knife cut the potato
- Cutting / chopping board
- Typography examples - these could be from magazines or printed from the internet
- Pencil
- Tracing paper
- Air dry clay
- Rolling pin
- String, ribbon or garden twine to match your napkins
Optional:
- Items to make imprints with i.e hessian, very small leaves and flowers
- White acrylic or gouache paint
- A paint brush
