Laughter Yoga with Tess

Tutor: Tess Sanderson

Laughter is good for the soul, but what happens if we don’t have much to laugh about?

Laughter yoga was developed 20 years ago by Indian medical doctor, Madan Kataria, who realised his patients recovered quicker when he involved laughter in their care. The practice is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter.

Laughter yoga leader Tess hosts this 30 minute session to help us learn to laugh spontaneously in order to re-energise and relax. Find a comfortable place to sit or stand to take part.
