Through a series of short exercises, you’ll get the chance to experiment and see how many different ways there are to capture the same subject.

Preparation
Prepare your materials and find a sturdy table or floor to work on.

- Sketching pencil (2B or 4B)
- Black drawing ink or black acrylic paint
- Watercolour paints – even a child’s set will do
- Medium-sized paint brush
- Wax crayon or candlestick
- Paper (any sturdy type—sketchbook, cartridge, card, watercolour paper, or even recycled packaging like brown paper)
Don’t worry if you don’t have fancy supplies—just use what you have!
