Tutor: Tess Sanderson
Laughter is good for the soul, but what happens if we don’t have much to laugh about? Laughter yoga was developed 20 years ago by Indian medical doctor, Madan Kataria, who realised his patients recovered quicker when he involved laughter in their care. The practice is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. Laughter yoga leader Tess shows us how laughter can get us moving, with Laughter Boxing, Stretching and Breathing - fun and accessible exercise which can be done seated or standing.
