Prep: download and print out the worksheet in the link below; clear a flat space to work at; set out all equipment and materials

Materials and equipment you'll need to take part:

  • Set of calligraphy letters
  • Blank red card
  • A square template sheet of paper
  • White soapstone or pencil for marking out design
  • Paints, shimmer pens, markers or coloured pencils for colouring letters
  • Paper glue
  • Foil stars or glitter to decorate
  • Craft cutting wheel and board
  • Metal ruler
