Join community artist Mary as she takes us through a 6-step guide to sketching and painting a street scene using pen and watercolours.

Prep: set out your materials and clear a space to paint at.

Video time: 20 minutes (video can be paused at any time so you can paint at your leisure)

 

 

Materials and equipment you'll need to take part:

  • Water colour paper taped to a board e.g. a kitchen bread board)
  • A set of basic watercolour paints
  • 2 watercolour paintbrushes
  • Waterproof black pen
  • A cup of water
  • A plate
  • Tissues
  • Masking tape
  • Pencil
  • Rubber
  • Reference picture or photograph
