Virtual Village Hall Christmas Concert
Royal Voluntary Service hosted a free Christmas concert at the Virtual Village Hall in the run up to Christmas.
We wished our volunteers, staff and supporters, NHS Volunteer Responders and Virtual Villagers a Merry Christmas with a joyful programme of festive music and dance performances, seasonal readings and messages.
Performers included Royal Voluntary Service ambassador, Elaine Paige OBE; London Contemporary Voices; violinist Sarah Buchan; Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir; Latin and ballroom dance stars, Michael & Jowita (Strictly Come Dancing); London Gay Men’s Chorus; and the Virtual Village Hall’s concert pianist Lincoln Noel, Celtic harpist Fiona Kyle and poet Rowan McCabe.
Special thanks were given to our volunteers and NHS Volunteer Responders for their time, efforts and support in helping others during what has been another extremely challenging year, and whose continued help will be vital over the winter months ahead.
