Upcycled Garden Decorations

Join workshop tutor Kim from DarnIt! Workshops as she shows us how to create a range of handmade garden decorations from upcycled materials. We’ll be making tin can tealight holders, t-shirt tassels and rag bunting.

Preparation: Fill a clean, empty tin can full of water and put it in the freezer before the session

Video time: 60 minutes

 

Materials and equipment you'll need to take part:

  • Tin can
  • Nail Hammer Wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Towel
  • T-shirt yarn (or t-shirts to chop)
  • Scissors
  • Twine
  • Scraps of fabric
