Beginners’ jive session

Watch again. Jive is a lively dance style from the 1940s and 1950s, performed to swing music or rock and roll. In this fun dance session, professional jive instructors Neil and Claire from  Boston Jive demonstrate the basic moves. Beginners will be able to learn the ropes while improvers and experienced dancers get to perfect their steps.

Prep: clear some space to dance, put on comfortable or vintage clothes and footwear, and find some jive style music to dance to
