Stay Safe, Warm and Well guide for winter health and wellbeing

Stay Safe Warm and Well

When temperatures drop, life can sometimes become more challenging, particularly for older people and those living alone or without support. Thanks to long-time supporter Yakult, Royal Voluntary Service has produced a free guide and video with practical ways to keep ourselves and our homes safe, warm and well over the winter months. The guide draws on the charity’s long experience of supporting people in need across Great Britain, and offers practical tips, advice and information.

Video time: 3.5 minutes

Stay well

It’s important to stay as healthy as you can all year round, both physically and mentally – but extra vigilance during the winter is recommended. From eating well and staying active, to keeping in touch with loved ones and looking after your mental health.
