Drawing class: an introduction to shading

Join art teacher Liz as she introduces the technique of shading in drawing. Designed for beginners, Liz’s class encourages budding artists to have a go at using soft art pencils and charcoal to create shading effects when drawing.

Prep: find an object or objects to draw; use a board, large book or table to lean on.
