Tutor: Jane, calligraphy artist
Make delightful, decorative 3D calligraphy paper stars with calligraphy artist Jane in this creative 25 minute session. To join in, you will need to download and print the star templates and set of calligraphy letters which are in the worksheet in the link below.
Prep: download and print out the worksheet in the link below; clear a flat space to work at; set out all equipment and materials
Video time: 25 minutes (allow for additional time to pause the video to follow the instructions or to try out a technique)
What you need to take part:
- Star templates and set of calligraphy letters (see link below)
- Paper, coloured if you have it
- Cutting board to protect your table, chopping board will do
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Biro or fine line pen
- Scissors or craft knife
- Compass (if you have one)
- Ribbon to hang your star
- Decorative glitter or embellishments if you wish
